Phylogenetic analysis of Hbγ-ECS1, Hbγ-ECS2, and five other plants. The Latin name of the species and NCBI accession number are provided. The phylogenetic tree is based on the genetic distances of protein sequences, and it was generated by MEGA5.01 software using ClustalW for the alignment. We used a neighbor-joining algorithm with a total of 1000 bootstrap replicates.
