Analysis of Polyphenolic Compounds in Extracts from Leaves of Some Malus domestica Cultivars: Antiradical and Antimicrobial Analysis of These Extracts

Antimicrobial activity of extracts from leaves of different varieties of apple demonstrated as a diameter of inhibition zone of bacterial or fungal growth [mm]. Antimicrobial activity was observed against three out of 9 strains tested: two gram positive bacterial (Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis) and fungal (Candida glabrata) strains. Statistical uncertainty was equal to ±0.33 ().
