Proliferative and Invasive Effects of Progesterone-Induced Blocking Factor in Human Glioblastoma Cells
PIBF induces invasion of U87 and U251 cells. The number of invasive cells after PIBF treatment was evaluated by a transwell invasion assay. Cells were treated with recombinant PIBF (100 ng/mL) for 24 h, while the medium was used as the vehicle. (a) Representative images of the invasive cells after PIBF treatment in both cell lines. (b) The graph shows the number of invasive cells from four independent experiments. The data are expressed as the mean ± S.E.M.; versus vehicle.
