Dexmedetomidine Protects Cardiomyocytes against Hypoxia/Reoxygenation Injury by Suppressing TLR4-MyD88-NF-κB Signaling

Overexpression of TLR4 reverses the inhibitory effects of DEX on TLR4, MyD88, and nuclear NF-kB p65 expression. IL-1β, TNF-α, and IL-6 expression was measured by quantitative RT-PCR (a–f). Data are expressed as means ± SEM ( = 3 per group). Western blot analysis was used to measure TLR4, MyD88, and nuclear NF-κB p65 protein expression in both H9C2 cells and neonatal cardiomyocytes (g–l). GAPDH and lamin B were used as a loading control for total and nuclear protein expression, respectively.
