Stattic inhibits radio-induced STAT3 activation in HCC cell lines. Hep G2, Bel-7402, and SMMC-7721 cells were pretreated with stattic or DMSO for 24 h and then were irradiated with 2 Gy of X-ray using a linear accelerator. Expression of p-STAT3 and t-STAT3 was examined by western blot. The activity of STAT3 = p-STAT3/t-STAT3. Each experiment was performed three times. , versus control group. , versus irradiation group.
