Stattic Enhances Radiosensitivity and Reduces Radio-Induced Migration and Invasion in HCC Cell Lines through an Apoptosis Pathway

Stattic inhibits radio-induced invasion in HCC cell lines. HCC cells were seeded in serum-free medium on transwell inserts (6.5 mm, 8 μm pores) coated with matrigel, and treated with stattic or DMSO for 24 h, irradiated with 4 Gy of X-ray, and then placed in the incubator to culture for 24 h. The inserts were fixed and stained with 0.05% crystal violet. Invaded cells were counted under an inverted microscope (100 magnifications).
