Radiation activated several inflammasomes including NLRP3 which might have taken part in pyroptosis in BV-2 microglia cells exposed to radiation with promoted ROS production. (a) Radiation promoted both AIM2 and NLRP3 increase significantly as well as increasing the expression of ASC, NLRP1, and NLRC4 with no significance.
