Timing test results for six timing test sessions. Each run consisted of 200 trials, for which the difference between the event marker and the sound onset was recorded (see Figure 3). Each dataset shows the spread of the actual sound onsets after the marker. The tops and bottoms of each box show the 25th and 75th percentiles, respectively; outliers are marked by a cross (>1.5 IQR). Dataset 2 shows the result of one session during which the estimated event markers were placed after the sound onset, leading to a negative deviation from the marker.
