Serum FD4 concentration was influenced by GIK in CLP-induced polymicrobial sepsis rats. GIK decreases intestinal epithelial permeability obviously. Sera were collected 24 hours after CLP challenge in first set of rats. All the values are expressed as mean ± SD ( in each analysis) of at least six independent experiments. versus sham CLP group, versus CLP group, and versus CLP + GIK group.
