Mutagenicity and cytotoxicity evaluation of Infertile. The graphs ((a), (b), (c), and (d)) show that, in both absence (−S9, ●) and presence (+S9, ▲) of exogenous metabolism, there were no mutagenic concentrations to TA97, TA100, TA102, and TA104. On the other hand, in (e), mutagenic activity to TA98 (−S9) was detected. No cytotoxic (survival ≤ 70%) response was observed to TA97, TA98, and TA100 (−S9/+S9, data not shown). In (f), there was a decrease of survival to TA102 and TA104 at 60 mM ( < 0.01 versus negative control; in triplicate; one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s post hoc test).
