Atlantoaxial Misalignment Causes High Blood Pressure in Rats: A Novel Hypertension Model

Blood pressure returned to normal after removing the implanted fixtures. After removing the implanted fixture, the blood pressure was recorded on the first (a), second (b), fifth (c), and seventh days (d), continuously. The blood pressure level decreased immediately (on the first day) after this surgery and eventually, the SBP and DBP of both experimental groups (LG and RG) were not different from these of control and sham groups (, Dunnett’s test). for each group, since half animals were blood drawn.
