Can Replacing CA125 with HE4 in Risk of Malignancy Indices 1–4 Improve Diagnostic Performance in the Presurgical Assessment of Adnexal Tumors?

Table 12

Comparison of predictive accuracy between classical and modified risk of malignancy indices (RMIs) 1–4 in patients with adnexal masses.

Modified RMIs (mRMIs) were obtained by replacing cancer antigen 125 with human epididymis secretory protein 4 in the classical RMIs. Predictive accuracy was expressed in terms of the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve. We obtained values using the Hanley and McNeil method.
