The effect of GL on LPS-induced mRNA expression of HMGB1 and proinflammatory cytokines. Rat NR8383 alveolar macrophages were stimulated by LPS and treated with or without increasing concentrations of GL for 12 h. The mRNA levels of HMGB1 (a), TNF-α (b), IL-1β (c), and IL-6 (d) were determined by real-time PCR. compared with LPS-treated control.
