The effect of GL on HMGB1-induced proinflammatory cytokine release in vitro. Rat NR8383 alveolar macrophages were stimulated by HMGB1 and treated with or without increasing concentrations of GL. The release of TNF-α (a), IL-1β (b), and IL-6 (c) was determined by ELISA. Data are presented as means ± SEM. compared with LPS-treated control.
