SAC inhibits H₂O₂ induced cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells. Cytotoxicity was measured by trypan blue exclusion method. (a) Cells were treated with different concentrations of H₂O₂ for 24 h. (b) Cells were treated with 1 mM H₂O₂ for different time points. (c) Cells were either left untreated or treated with SAC for 2 h followed by treatment with 1 mM H₂O₂ and SAC for 24 h. (d) Cells were either left untreated or treated with 1 mM H₂O₂ for 1 h followed by treatment with SAC (150 μM) and H₂O₂ for the indicated time points. (e) Cells were treated with different concentrations of SAC for 24 h. P<0.05, P<0.01, and P<0.001 compared to the control group. #P<0.05, ##P<0.01, and ###P<0.001 compared to the H₂O₂ treated group.
