Apoptosis of human middle ear epithelial cells (HMEECs) following exposure to lead for 24 h. Apoptotic cells were detected by fluorescence using an IncuCyte Zoom system: the numbers of apoptotic cells increased with increasing concentration of lead(II) acetate trihydrate.
