Effects of PPI on the viability of HepG2 cells. Chemical structure of polyphyllin I (a). HepG2 cells were incubated with various concentrations of PPI for 6, 12, and 24 h. Relative cell viability was determined via a Cell Counting Kit-8 assay (b). Cell morphology was observed via microscopy following treatment with PPI at 0-5 μM for 12 h (c).
