Small Molecule Inhibitor of Type Three Secretion System Belonging to a Class 2,4-disubstituted-4H-[1,3,4]-thiadiazine-5-ones Improves Survival and Decreases Bacterial Loads in an Airway Pseudomonas aeruginosa Infection in Mice

<div>FT reduces lung pathology in mice intranasally infected with P. aeruginosa clinical isolate exoU+ 1840 in a dose of 3.25х106 CFU/mouse. Mice were treated per os with 50 mg/kg of FT twice a day for 3 days starting immediately after infection. Lungs of survived animals were sectioned, stained with H&amp;E and analyzed at day 5 postinfection. Photographs were taken at multiplication x4 (a, c, e) and x40 (b, d, f) for intact (a, b); infected (c, d) and FT-treated mice (e, f).</div>
