Case-Control Study on Occupational Exposure to Extremely Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Fields and the Association with Meningioma

Table 1

Odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) for meningioma (,592) for occupational exposure to ELF-EMF. Population based controls (,485) were used. Subjects with no coded occupation were excluded, 33 meningioma cases and 45 controls. Unconditional logistic regression, adjusted for age at diagnosis, gender, socioeconomic index (SEI), and year of diagnosis. Exposure the year before diagnosis was excluded (“1-year lag”).
