(a) TL is the distance from the apex of the talar head to the groove of the flexor hallucis longus; TW is the distance from the lateral talar process to the midpoint of the medial talar trochlea. (b) DAW is the distance between the anterior points of the medial and lateral trochlea, DMW is the distance between the apexes of the medial and lateral talar domes, DPW is the distance between the posterior points of the trochlea, and DL is the distance between the midpoint of the DAW and DPW.
