Dihydroartemisinin Protects against Dextran Sulfate Sodium-Induced Colitis in Mice through Inhibiting the PI3K/AKT and NF-κB Signaling Pathways

Dihydroartemisinin blocks activation of the NF-kB signaling pathway in colitis both in vivo and in vitro. The mice were treated with DSS for 7 days, and IEC-6 cells were treated with LPS for 24 hours, and then, the colon tissue and IEC-6 cell lysates were analyzed by western blotting.
