Treatment of Postsurgical Scalp Scar Deformity Using Follicular Unit Hair Transplantation

A 19-year-old female patient, who had skin necrosis after undergoing a fat graft to her forehead 1 year previously, had an approximately 130 cm2 postsurgical triangular hairless lesion on the right frontotemporal area (Left). In total, 4,550 FUs were extracted and transplanted by the scalp strip excision method, and the graft survival rate was 75% at the 12-month follow-up visit (Right).
