Histomorphometric Analysis of Callus Formation Stimulated by Axial Dynamisation in a Standardised Ovine Osteotomy Model

nB.Ar and Cg.Ar were assessed separately for the anterior and the posterior callus side. Anterior new bone formation was up to twice as high as posterior. Also cartilage area was significantly higher at the anterior callus side. Data are presented as mean values (mean), standard deviations (SD), median, minimum (Min), and maximum (Max) in mm.
