Effect of eNOS on Ischemic Postconditioning-Induced Autophagy against Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury in Mice

IPostC decreased the myocardial infarct size induced by I/R injury. Infarct size was measured following 2 h of reperfusion. I/R significantly increased myocardial infarct size and was decreased by IPostC. The protective effect of IPostC was abolished by autophagy inhibitor 3-MA or eNOS inhibitor L-NIO (n=5 per group). versus Control; versus I/R; versus IPostC.
