Caspase-3, caspase-8, and caspase-9 activities of MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 cells after treatment with compound 1 for 24 hours. The caspase-3 (a), caspase-8 (b), and caspase-9 (c) activities were measured by using individual specific tetrapeptide substrates tagged with para-nitroaniline, and the absorbance of cleaved p-NA was determined by a spectrophotometric microplate reader.
