Schisandra Inhibit Bleomycin-Induced Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in Rats via Suppressing M2 Macrophage Polarization

Schisandra suppressed BLM-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats. After the establishment and pathological evolution of a rat model of pulmonary fibrosis by tracheal BLM (5 mg/kg) instillation, the rats in the sham group received an intratracheal injection of the same volume of normal saline.
