(a) Partial circumference of the strictured ureter was removed to create a ureteral plate; thereafter, the appendix was excised from the colon retaining blood vessel pedicle; then, it was incised longitudinally on its antimesenteric border, forming an appendiceal flap. (b) The appendiceal flap was mobilized to finish the anastomosis with the ureteral plate.
