Effect of the Deletion of Genes Related to Amino Acid Metabolism on the Production of Higher Alcohols by Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Determination of genes expression levels in recombinant strains and α5. The gene expression level in each recombinant strain was measured, compared with α5. With the change fold as the data, the heat map of the expression level of each gene in the recombinant strain was drawn by Excel 2016. Each row represents the expression level of each target gene in each recombinant strain, compared with the parent strain α5. Red indicates that the expression level of the target gene is upregulated, while green indicates that it is downregulated, respectively, compared with that of α5. The deeper the color, the larger the up/downregulation. Amongst them, the maximum upregulation multiple was 25.155, and the maximum downregulation multiple was 1.43923, which was compared with α5.
