Optimisation of External Factors for the Growth of Francisella novicida within Dictyostelium discoideum

Growth kinetics of F. novicida after exposure to different temperatures. The bacterial suspensions were incubated at 22, 25, 27, 30, 37, or 42°C for 5 days. The number of F. novicida was determined daily by plating the serial dilutions on BCYE agar at 37°C. The experiments were performed in triplicate and the error bars represent standard deviations. .
