ERK1/2 Signaling Pathway Activated by EGF Promotes Proliferation, Transdifferentiation, and Migration of Cultured Primary Newborn Rat Lung Fibroblasts

<div>Cell cycle distribution. Cell populations at G0/G1, S, and G2/M phases were determined by averaging the results from five independent experiments. Control group: lung fibroblasts (LFs) without any treatment; PD98059 group: LFs treated with 10 <i>μ</i>mol/L PD98059; epidermal growth factor (EGF) group: LFs treated with 20 ng/mL EGF; EGF+PD98059 group: LFs treated with both 20 ng/mL EGF and 10 <i>μ</i>mol/L PD98059.
