ERK1/2 Signaling Pathway Activated by EGF Promotes Proliferation, Transdifferentiation, and Migration of Cultured Primary Newborn Rat Lung Fibroblasts

<div>Col-<i>Ι</i> protein levels in lung fibroblasts following treatment were detected by western blotting. Control group: lung fibroblasts (LFs) without any treatment; PD98059 group: lung fibroblasts (LFs) treated with 10 <i>μ</i>mol/L PD98059; epidermal growth factor (EGF) group: LFs treated with 20 ng/mL EGF; EGF+PD98059 group: LFs treated with both 20 ng/mL EGF and 10 <i>μ</i>mol/L PD98059. All treatments were administered for 24 h.
