Dexmedetomidine Directs T Helper Cells toward Th1 Cell Differentiation via the STAT1-T-Bet Pathway

Dexmedetomidine results in increased STAT1 phosphorylation and T-bet expression. CD4+ T cells received anti-CD3/CD28 and rIL-2 treatment for 3 days. Different concentrations of dexmedetomidine (0, 0.01, 0.1, 1, and 10 nM) were added to induce genes and protein expression. (a) T-bet and GATA3 mRNA expressions were determined by real-time PCR.
