Mitophagy Impairment Aggravates Cisplatin-Induced Ototoxicity

<div>Chemical inhibition of cisplatin (CP) augmented mitophagy induces cytotoxicity and suppresses the expression of mitophagy-associated proteins. (a) The survival of cisplatin-treated HEI-OC1 cells was significantly reduced by pretreatment with the mitophagy suppressor 3-MA. (b, c) Pretreatment with 3-MA downregulates the expression of <i>PINK1</i>, <i>Parkin</i>, <i>BNIP3</i>, and LC3B in a dose-dependent manner.
