Cilengitide Inhibits Neovascularization in a Rabbit Abdominal Aortic Plaque Model by Impairing the VEGF Signaling

<div>Cilengitide treatment inhibits the mRNA expression of VEGF, <i>α</i><sub>v</sub>, <i>β</i><sub>3</sub>, and <i>β</i><sub>5</sub> of HUVECs. (a) Cilengitide inhibits the mRNA expression of VEGF under doses of 10 <i>μ</i>M. (b) Cilengitide did not affect the mRNA expression of <i>α</i><sub>v</sub>. (c) Cilengitide inhibits the mRNA expression of <i>β</i><sub>3</sub> under doses of 10 <i>μ</i>M.
