<div>Sequence of events involved in SARS-CoV-2-induced Th2 immunopathology: antibody-bound SARS-CoV-2 virion interacts with the Fc<i>γ</i>R of host monocytes/macrophages. Virus-infected macrophages are not only responsible for various complications of the disease but also interact with T cells of lymphoid tissues in the host, which leads to the aggravated inflammatory responses which were reported in COVID-19.</div>
