Human Dental Pulp-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell Potential to Differentiate into Smooth Muscle-Like Cells In Vitro

<div>Quantification of positively immunostained differentiated MSCs. All the differentiated MSCs under both the treatment groups (Norm-c and Gel-c) showing positive immunostaining results were quantified using ImageJ v1.52a software. A significant difference was observed in fold change of integrated density by day 7 Gel-c and Norm-c treated MSCs in relation to <i>α</i>-SMA and CALP markers. However, no significant difference was observed among any other group for any marker in any time duration.
