Inhibitory Activity of Pyrroloisoxazolidine Derivatives against Chlamydia trachomatis

Host cells were not involved in the compounds’ antichlamydial activity. HeLa cells were incubated with 2, 8, or 32 μM compound 1 (a) or 2 (b) at 37°C for 1 or 4 h. After washes, cells were infected with EBs. At 36 hpi, the inclusion was counted as described in “Materials and Methods.” Data are presented as of three independent assays.
