Fractions were subjected to Native-PAGE followed by western blotting for SAA. Each sample was adjusted to 500 <i>μ</i>g/lane SAA before loading. In cases with lower SAA concentrations, the maximum volume was loaded. Representative HDL profiles from patients with low (a) and high (b) plasma SAA values are shown.</div>
