Edible Vitalmelon Fruit Extract Inhibits Adipogenesis and Ameliorates High-Fat Diet-Induced Obesity

<div>Effects of vitalmelon aqueous (VW) extract on plasma liver enzyme (AST and ALT), lipid (total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides), total protein, and glucose concentrations in female C57BL/6 mice after 10 weeks. Obesity was induced with a high-fat diet (HFD, 60 kcal%) and different concentrations of VW (1 and 25 mg·kg<sup>-1</sup> body weight) in C57BL/6 mice. After VW extract treatment for 70 days, the plasma was extracted from the blood of the mice and analyzed. The mice received a normal diet (control), HFD, HFD+10 mg·kg<sup>-1</sup> body weight orlistat (HO10), HFD+1 mg·kg<sup>-1</sup> body weight VW extract (VW01), or HFD+25 mg·kg<sup>-1</sup> body weight
