Edible Vitalmelon Fruit Extract Inhibits Adipogenesis and Ameliorates High-Fat Diet-Induced Obesity

<div>Vitalmelon aqueous (VW) extract inhibited the expression of PPAR-<i>γ</i> and its target genes in the liver of C57BL/6 mice. Obesity was induced with a high-fat diet (HFD, 60 kcal%) and HFD+25 mg·kg<sup>-1</sup> body weight VW extract (VW25) in C57BL/6 mice. Following VW extract treatment for 70 days, total protein was extracted from the liver, and the expression of PPAR-<i>γ</i> and its target genes was analyzed. <svg height="8.55521pt" id="M124"
