The diagnosis of osteoporosis was determined from BMD of the lumbar spine based on the diagnostic criteria of the American College of Radiology and International Society for clinical densitometry (). The BMD values for each site were analyzed with a two-way (; ) analysis of variance with repeated measures. In the event of a significant main effect, post hoc comparisons were conducted using the Bonferroni test. .
