The Therapeutic Potential of Aprepitant in Glioblastoma Cancer Cells through Redox Modification

Figure 3

The effect of NK1R on the production of ROS in glioblastoma-derived cells. Using the ROS assay, we evaluated the intracellular level of ROS after the treatment of U87 cells with SP, aprepitant, or the combination of both agents. SP significantly elevated the intracellular level of ROS in U87 cells at the concentration of 800 nM. Aprepitant, either as a single agent or in combination with SP, could halt the generation of free radicals in malignant cells. Values are given as the of three independent experiments. ## and ### are representative of , which is statistically significant.
