The Therapeutic Potential of Aprepitant in Glioblastoma Cancer Cells through Redox Modification

<div>Stimulation of NK1R using SP decreased the concentration of the thiol component in U87 cells. Using the thiol assay, the concentration of proteins containing the thiol group was evaluated in U87 cells after either SP or aprepitant treatment. Unlike SP, which decreased the level of thiol in the cells, aprepitant increased the concentration of thiol-containing proteins, suggestive of the antioxidant property of this agent.
