Ratio of mean mRNA expression levels in skeletal muscle biopsies compared to cell cultures. mRNA was isolated from muscle biopsies and cultured myotubes, and expression was assessed by RT-PCR, as described in Materials and Methods. Values are presented as mean ± SEM of 4 experiments, each representing one donor, with 3 replicates each, and normalized to levels of the housekeeping gene 36B4.
