Biochemical Constituents of Phaleria macrocarpa (Leaf) Methanolic Extract Inhibit ROS Production in SH-SY5Y Cells Model

Intracellular ROS inhibitory levels were measured by fluorescent probe DCF-DA in SH-SY5Y cells pretreated with extract for 24 hrs and challenge with H2O2 (150 mM) to induce ROS production. The values represent mean ± SD from three independent experiments. represented significantly different values from H2O2 treated group and the group that are treated with crude extract (7.9–1000 µg/mL) followed by exposure to H2O2.
