The Role of Glutamine in the Prevention of Ultraviolet-C-Induced Platelet Activation

<div>Glutamine prevents UV-C-induced phosphorylation of cPLA2: the immune-precipitated cPLA2 was analyzed by immunoblotting the same blot with anti-cPLA2 or anti-P-cPLA2. The respective bar graph represents the association ratio of cPLA2 to P-cPLA2. The first column is assigned a value 1 for relative comparison. The histogram represents the results of 3 independent experiments from the same platelet collection with standard deviation.
