Input: the preprocessed skin dermoscopy image
Step 1. Normalize dimension from RGB color space
Step 2. Convert RGB color space to XYZ
Step 3. Normalize dimension from XYZ color space
Step 4. Apply Otsu threshold algorithm
Step 5. Apply postprocessing method based on mathematical morphology
Output: the segmented image
