Each source of stress was rated on a 5-point scale that included the following anchors: 0 (none of the time), 1 (a little of the time), 2 (some of the time), 3 (most of the time), and 4 (all of the time). Highly frequent stress was considered a rating of 3 or 4 (most or all of the time) on this rating scale.
