Ultrasound Grade of Liver Steatosis Is Independently Associated with the Risk of Metabolic Syndrome

There is a statistically significant trend of increase in proportion of NAFLD among patients with rising number of metabolic syndrome components, the Χ2 test for trend, P<0.001.
