Therapeutic Effects of Milk Thistle (<i>Silybum marianum</i> L.) and Artichoke (<i>Cynara scolymus</i> L.) on Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in Type 2 Diabetic Rats

<div>Blood glucose changes in the glucose tolerance test (GTT) in each group. Blood glucose values during the GTT were significantly higher in the diabetic groups (with and without treatment) than in the normal group, which showed insulin resistance in these groups. Values are expressed as the mean ± SEM (<i>n</i> = 7–9/group at each time point).
